The Friends of Lux Terra is a mentoring group that was established in November 2009 to guide, support, mentor, and inspire young adults, including upcoming professionals who desire to make a difference in the Nigerian society by putting Christian values (and/or the values of the Catholic Social Teachings) into practice in their day-to-day social, economic, political, and domestic affairs.

There are over 40 persons enlisted in the group. They meet for about 3 hours, once every month, to reflect on strategies to effectively imbibe, strengthen, and disseminate the values and habits of Love and Compassion, Honesty and Accountability, Truth and Justice, Courage and Discipline, Faith and Commitment, Humility and Self-Sacrifice, as well as Deferred Gratification.

Each member in turn is expected to have a group of young mentees to be mentored in the practical ways of living out the above listed values.
