The Lux Terra Leadership Foundation held a Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshop in Abuja, from April 27 to May 1, 2026, for key stakeholders in the Methodist Church Nigeria. The focus was on preventing gender-based violence by leveraging the Church’s resources, structures, and networks.

This three-day training aimed to equip participants with effective strategies and mechanisms for addressing and preventing gender-based violence, not only within the Methodist Church but also across the country.

A key highlight of the program is the emerging abuse involving increased cases of wealthy men and women turning to surrogate motherhood.
